Abstract：the development of management information system (MIS) mainly includes two aspects as the creation and maintainance of database and the development of client application programs. The author developed a student MIS using various object-facing tools provided by VB6.0 software.
The student MIS contains the functions of the entry, enquiry, and compilation of information, which can satisfy the basic demand of student management in schools. It’s a MIS running independently, and it can improve the office efficiency of the schools, save plenty of human resource and money, improve the management level of the schools, enconcise the complicated working mode, and further make more reasonable and scientific school management inparallel with avoiding plenty of repeated works.
